Death Cafe

Death Cafe In-Person

Benjamin Franklin famously said, "In this world, nothing is certain but death and taxes." Join us on "tax day" for a Death Cafe with tea, cake and conversations!

Death Cafes are part of a global initiative to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of our (finite) lives. We gather in a safe, relaxed setting to discuss death and dying and to drink tea, coffee and eat cake! There is no agenda, objective or theme. Please note Death Cafes are discussion groups. They are not grief or bereavement support or counseling groups.

Death Cafe is FREE and open to the public. Space is limited, please register for the program.

This event is hosted by Laura Dusha Nelson, Death Literacy Specialist/End-of-Life Doula, and refreshments are provided by the library.
